Sorry about any inconvienience that may have been caused to any of my sites users. Over the last 24hours my website host has been expierenceing several problems with their servers and have had about 20% downtime today, which has inturn returned error messages to users trying to view sportsclubsdownunder.net.

Wow, A month and a half and still growing!
I can't believe it, it has almost been a month and a half since work started on the Sports Clubs Downunder site. Much effort has gone into gathering all of Queensland's sports clubs. I will spill some information to you about our progress.
So far, all the clubs outside of Brisbane have been added, that means that you may see what clubs are available to you within many of Queensland's regional towns. Right now, I am gathering a list of AFL clubs within Brisbane, their is a stack of them - about 1 for 3 suburbs. I was completely unaware of the multitude of AFL players in Queensland.
The largest section so far one the site is by far AFL. Currently their is a list of over 30 AFL clubs. Click here to see a list of these clubs.
Remember how I mentioned that their are many great benefits about adding your club to the site, well several clubs have taken advantage of this. 1 Cycling club and 1 AFL club have uploaded informational PDF files that are relevnat to their club. Remember these files can be virtually any thing to do with you club, such as Membership forms and information files.
How are we going with SEO? (Search Engine Optimization)
So far we have attached some components to the site which automatically add generate keywords for articles that are written. This means one less worry for club Authors. This has in turn helped us to start ranking higher in Google. Google last indexed the site on the 28th of June.
How is our page rank going?
Well first of all page rank is a measure of how many reciprocal links that a site has on the internet. This includes links in Forums, Directories etc. Well now that you know that our site's page rank is currently below the minimum but hey we are working on this. So far we have been working to increase our page rank by creating reciprocal links in Directories and even creating groups in Facebook and Bebo. Read this article to find out more about our Facebook group which currently has (34 members).
